Patience...virtue or vice?

Ok, here goes. I am starting to get a little impatient in the world these days. It seemed like I was getting off to a good start but now things are really stationary. I have not heard back from anyone. I have applied to about 36.5 thousand jobs! I am not going to think negatively, however. Usually in my life things seem to go pretty well. There's a part of me that wants to simply harrass people but you gotta keep your boundaries.

Anywho, enough with that. For now, i'm working on getting a part time job. I gotta have some cash flow, you know. I do know one thing. If any motivation exists for getting a job, it is getting out of my parent's house. I can't even talk on the phone late at night in my room because we are right next door. Ahhhh!! I want to have a party at my house in NLR this summer sometime, so if all you out-of-towners could make it, that would be rockin'!!

Have a good day. I'll be back...

Yeah what he said... but give the poor people at least 2-3 days to let your supersweetsexydesign set into their heads. Then if they don't respond to you, (hey I am in that situation) May I speak with Mr/Ms. Creative director please, Good Morning Hilda, I was calling to see if the company was still interested in hiring a (insert any job here)? This is usually when they will say yes, we talked it over and want you to come in for a second meeting or no we decided not too. If yes, celebrate briefly in your mind and prepare to get grilled! If no, say thank you, and bug them again next week.

One creative director even told me he went as far to re-design existing ads and sent them to the company he wanted to work for. (After several failed attempts at communicating with the company.)
This definately got their attention and he said it ultimately got him a joOb.

Urgh! I am there too. However, I did get a second interview at one place. Its all explained in gory detail on my blog on the second from the top entry. Who knows you may get a laugh out of it?

This is soo great that we can keep in touch!
